Literally every time we visited Whangarei my husband would tell me about these falls, it only took him 17 years to finally take me there 🙃

Less than 10 minutes from the cbd, it's so accessible but blissfully peaceful.

Incredible morning with @catbaloucruises who pulled out all the stops and delivered not just one, but two pods of humpback whales (with babies!!).

Got back in time to stagger up the hill for THE BEST pizza and a Corona at @hotelaustralasia.

Having a play with #highkeyphotography for my diploma tonight with necklaces from Fiji and a wee ceramic jar (is that what you'd call it??) I picked up in Bali on a work trip a few years ago with @mrsjtalbot

I've been a souvenir junkie since my first big road trip as a kid. I'm still a sucker for a tourist shop but these days tend to do my treasure hunting in markets and back street boutiques.
